Employment Opportunities

We are always interested in hearing from high calibre personnel interested in joining our exclusive panel of Maritime Professionals.

In particular, we'd like to hear from those possessing the necessary qualifications and active service experience for our Maritime Security and (separately) Asset Recovery/Loss Control divisions.

ALL applicants - without exception - must complete an MRM SA CV form (available on request). Please do NOT send unsolicited personal CVs which, because of the volume of such that we receive, we cannot deal with efficiently and will not, therefore, answer.

Before requesting a CV form, please read the note below which outlines our minimum  requirements for each division (MarSec and Asset Recovery/Loss Control).

Maritime Security minimum requirements:

At least 3 years active service experience in Maritime Special Forces/MCT operations
Membership (or pending application for membership) of IAMSP or SAMI
Seamans Discharge Book holder
Valid passport (valid for at least 6 months from date of first assignment)

Asset Recovery/Loss Control minimum requirements:

Master Mariner/Class I Certificate of Competency or equivalent
Chief Engineer/Class I Certificate of Competency (Asset Recovery only)
Lesser qualifications may be considered for Loss Control assignments
Certain Loss Control specialities may benefit from a professional science degree or equivalent
Specific cargo experience an advantage for Loss Control

Requests for CV forms (subject to the above minimums stated above) should be sent to:
information@marinerisk.com
with Subject heading (as appropriate):
"MarSec" or "Asset Recovery" or "Loss Control"
